Qualche mese dopo la pubblicazione di Privateering parte da Bucarest, il 25 aprile, il tour di supporto all'album che in Europa ha toccato 63 città per 70 concerti sei dei quali alla Royal Albert Hall (dal 27 maggio al 1 giugno), i proventi dei concerti delle sei serate londinesi sono stati destinati a sei diversi enti di beneficenza. Il tour Europeo ha visto l'ultima tappa a Calella de Palafrugell, in Spagna, il 31 luglio 2013. Sono seguite poi 5 tappe ad ottobre nel Nord America.
Erano previste due tappe in Russia che, vista la situazione politica, vennero annullate, questa la dichiarazione ufficiale di Mark: "Given the crackdown by Russian authorities on groups including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, I have regretfully decided to cancel my upcoming concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg in June. I have always loved playing in Russia and have great affection for the country and the people. I hope the current climate will change soon. MK"
Alla band si è unito Nigel Hitchcock nelle tappe in Regno Unito, in Germania e nelle 5 tappe in Nord America. Ruth Moody è stata ospite nei concerti del Regno Unito.

I concerti del Privateering Tour sono stati registrati dalla Bleecker Street Entertainment e ognuno di essi era disponibile su chiavetta usb a forma di chitarra.
